You know, lately I have been suddenly interested in Vampires.
Well, I have always been interested in Vampires but since I've been reading a lot of books with or about Vampires, I have suddenly wanted to find out more and more information.
I dunno what it is but every time I read Vampire books I get a sudden urge (if you like) to research and find out more about them.
I have been interested in Vampires since I was about 12 (that is about 5 years I have been interested in them for hehehe) and always get a little obsessed, then go and find information. I know I do it all the time but I figure that you can never get enough information about a topic you find interesting :)

How To...Have perfact nails
Well, it is that time again. It is Friday and Shit! I have a spot on my cheek and it hurts ='[
Anyway, you know how it goes. Here is my 3rd How To.. Tutorial.
How To Have Perfect Nails.
- Before you even start, make sure you have everything you need in order for you to have perfect nails. This includes; nail polish, nail scissors, cotton wool balls, nail polish remover, cuticle cream, hand and nail lotion and a good nail file.
- Remove any nail polish you may still have on your nails with the nail polish remover. Even if you don't have any nail polish left on your nails, do it anyway as it will clean them.
- Wash your hands in warm, soapy water and pat them dry. This will clean your hands (obviously!)
- So, now you have clean nails and clean hands. Next, get the pointed edge of the nail file and clean the insides of your nails. Dirty nails are actually very gross and disturbing. Plus all of that dirt that gets under your fingernails is germs, Ugh!
- Now, cut your fingernails short but not too short. File them off so they are either nice and rounded or nice and squared. This depends on the shape of your fingers to be honest so look at them and decide what will look best on you.
- Coat your finger nails in a clear nail polish and wait for them to dry. If you don't and you are using a dark colour on your nails, it will stain and leave your nails looking yellow. Doing this anyway, whether or not you are using a dark colour, will keep them healthy anyway.
- Once that is dry you can start with your colour you want to use for your nails. Always start from the middle and then do each side of your nail. This will keep it easier to do and you will be less likely to smudge.
- If you do smudge, wait until your nail polish is dry and then use a little bit of nail polish remover on a tiny bit of cotton wool. Being careful not to smudge it onto your nail otherwise all your hard work will be ruined and you will have to do it again.
- Once done, apply a second coat. It will darken it and make it look cute =P (Once again, if you smudge do the above step.)
- Finally you need to apply another coat of clear nail polish to make them shine and also make the nail polish last longer without chipping.
- Next, add a dab of cuticle cream to your cuticles as this will soften them up and they won't go hard and break off. (Looking after your cuticles is another story so don't ask.)
- Finally, apply some hand and nail lotion to your hands and nails (duh!) to keep them soft and smelling lovely.
- Make sure to keep applying the cuticle cream and lotions to your hands and cuticles everyday to make sure they stay soft.
- Once in a while, cut your nails back down to size to keep your hands well looked after.

How To...Write a Good Song
This is my Second How To... post. Enjoy.
How To Write A Good Song
- A song is often like a poem with a few differences.
- If you can, start by thinking what your song is about. Is it about a girl/guy you like? Is it something more deeper than that?
- Ask questions to yourself. Like in the point above.
- Think about the Chorus first. This way you can think about my next point and also about the Verses in the song.
- What is the topic of your song? Is it Love? Loss? Pain and suffering? Homeless people? Think of your topic!
- An issue that is important to you always makes a good song.
- Not every song has a Bridge but if they do they are often sung in a different tone and have a different melody to the rest of the song.
- At this point you should have a Bridge and a Chorus (if you have decided on having a Bridge that is heehee). And you shouldn't worry about the structure of the song just yet.
- Next, it is time to think about the Verses. Most songs have 2 or 3 Verses (usually the Bridge of a song is used as the 3rd verse.
- Although a song is like a poem, not all of them rhyme so don't worry about that.
- Also, songs have a Pre-Chorus which is sung before a Chorus and after a Verse. This builds up to the Chorus and shouldn't be that long. 2 or 3 lines is enough.
- After you have written your song with the Verses and Pre-Chorus/Chorus and/or Bridge, you can think about the order of the verses. Which verse is going first/second? Is the Chorus going to be sung at the beginning or after the first verse? etc. Ask more questions!
- Read you song when you have finished. Does it make sense? If not, re-order or tweak the words so they make more sense, etc.
- Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Rome wasn't built in a day and a song will take time and effort if you want it to be really good.
- Keep re-reading your song to make sure you have it exactly the way you want it and it has a meaning.
- Now, think about a title for your song. This is often either a word that is often repeated though the song (Chorus, usually, as this gets repeated the most) or a word that sums up what you wanted to say in the song.
- If you want, try and put music to the song. Thinking carefully about the melody of the song. Are the words sad and depressing? Then it is more likely that the music will be slow and emotional.

How To...Have more confidence
Here is my very first How To blog. Every week, starting today, I will post a How To for everyone. Not that anyone reads my blog but it is something fun for me to do and will help me write more =]
Anyway, my first How To is: How To have more confidence.
1. Wear a little mascara and lip gloss to school. Yeah, it may not be a great idea, especially if your school doesn't allow makeup but wearing clear mascara means you won't be able to see it. This will boost your confidence a little as if you feel pretty when you wear makeup, you will feel a little confident.
2. Don't slap makeup on. For a start, it looks a show in the first place and it only makes you either seem desperate or seem to other people that you don't like the way you look.
3. Don't be afraid to wear any clothes you want. Customise your clothes your own way will make you look confident as you will seem that you have confidence about what you wear and not afraid to be seen. Which brings you to my next point.
4. Don't be afraid of being seen. Out and about. If you are shy, this will bring down your self-esteem and knock your confidence.
5. Laugh. Laughing not only is healthy for you, it makes you look confident. Laugh at anything! It is good for you and makes you look like a 'Happy' person.
6. Love the way you look. Feeling pretty will make you pretty (just remember that!). When you feel good about yourself, you feel more confident.
7. Go and hit that shops with your friends, you will have a laugh, buy a new outfit and most of all feel confident.
8. If someone says anything to you like 'Eww, look at your hair' this can knock your confidence but if you just flick your hair to the side and say 'yeah, I know' this will make you feel confident and the person who said it to you will not have anything else to say. People who say anything about other peoples hair, clothes or looks only means that they are jealous (either that or they have no lives of their own so blame it on other people and so end up taking out their anger/*insert other mood here* on someone else).
9. Listen to music on your MP3/iPod. I don't know if this works for everyone or not but it works for me. I walk to college which is long and boring so I take my phone and earphones with me to listen to music on the way. This builds up my confidence and makes me feel more happier in the mornings.
10. Lift your head up high when you are walking. Slouching makes you look shy and insecure. (Most importantly: SMILE!!!)
